Hardten Precision Technologies Pvt Ltd engaged NV Dynamics to perform floor vibration assessments within their lab space located at Ichhapore GIDC, Bhatpore, Surat.
The assessment was aimed to evaluate the impact of surrounding vibration sources on two (2) sensitive machines: Coborn PG3B and Coborn PS2B. It also seeks to measure the vibration levels at specific lab room locations as identified by the client.
Ultra-low frequency vibration transducers (seismic grade) were used throughout the task which were directly coupled to the floor and onto the machine. The transducers were mounted along orthogonal axes (X, Y, & Z) at seven identified locations (2 on the machines + 5 floor locations). The transducers were connected to a multi-channel data acquisition system, configured to continuously record vibration data throughout the task at different conditions.
The recorded data was then processed and the results were compared with vibration criteria curves VC-B and VC-C representing the permissible limit for the vibration sensitive equipment.
