NV Dynamics has been retained by M/s. Les Concierges Services Pvt. Ltd to conduct vibration assessments on the ground floor of the Inventor Building at ITPL, Whitefield. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the ambient vibration levels within the proposed laboratory space, where vibration-sensitive equipment is planned to be installed. Vibration measurements were carried out at four locations across the designated floor area. The acquired vibration data were processed and evaluated against established vibration criterion (VC) curves to assess the suitability of the space for the intended equipment installation.

M/s. Afcons infrastructure engaged NV Dynamics to assess vibration severity levels due to their ongoing metro construction along the 11.2 km metro corridor of Kochi metro’s phase 2, which features a newly elevated line named pink line, with 10 new stations starting from Palarivottam junction to Infopark. Vibration assessments were carried out during piling operation which involved different construction activities such as boring, auguring, bucketing etc. The collected vibration data were processed and the peak particle velocity values were compared with the applicable FTA guideline values.

NV Dynamics is engaged by M/s. Precot Limited to conduct vibration analysis on a motor/blower fan unit of 110kW. Vibration levels of the motor/blower fan unit were initially assessed under various operating conditions, followed by a comprehensive vibration analysis. The investigation indicated the problems with the front bearing assembly of the motor along with high intensity knocks and shock events in synchronization to the rotational movements of the motor indicating the bearing damage, to mitigate this issue recommendations were proposed to the client.

M/s Chowgule and Company Pvt. Ltd. engaged NV Dynamics to conduct comprehensive noise assessments for their newly constructed General Cargo Vessel, named “JILL C,” currently located at Mormugao Port, Goa. The scope of work included carrying out noise level measurements onboard, under both harbour conditions and during sea trials. These measurements were performed in a single designated habitability space to evaluate compliance with applicable maritime noise standards and regulations governing shipboard noise levels.
