NV Dynamics was retained by M/s Gensler Design India (P) Ltd. to assess, investigate and propose mitigation plans for a reported floor vibration. The test location had multiple precision electronic equipment installed across the floor space. Vibration assessments were carried out using ultra-low frequency (seismic grade) transducers, which were directly coupled perpendicular to the floor slab and the steel base plate of the precision equipment being evaluated. The assessment included impact-based testing to determine the natural frequency of the walkway floor and the steel plate. Actionable mitigation measures were proposed and implemented.

EVQ Point Solutions engaged NV Dynamics to assess the noise levels emitted by the recently developed 8.5 kW DC fast charger unit across each of its surfaces in an acoustically treated environment using qualified measuring devices. Initially, the ambient noise levels within the room were recorded, followed by noise measurements and assessments. The noise measurements were conducted for different operational conditions as per the customer’s requirement.

NV Dynamics was engaged by M/s. Forevision Instruments (India) Private Limited to evaluate the existing/ambient noise and vibration levels in a designated laboratory space before the installation of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) equipment. Noise and vibration assessments were conducted using Type- 1 sound level meter and ultra-low frequency vibration transducers respectively. The assessed data was then processed and evaluated against the noise and vibration criteria provided by the customer.

NV dynamics was engaged by Bhilai Steel Plant to conduct vibration analysis and in-situ balancing on 4 motor drive units. Vibration assessments were conducted to check the presence of unbalance and other potential issues such as misalignment, looseness etc. Based on the vibration results, in-situ balancing was performed on the drive units which were found to exceed the acceptable limits specified by ISO 20816
