Project Description

Multiple operating aircrafts were stationed at the designated location on the taxiway; Engines were made to operate at their possible maximum thrust. Noise and Vibration measurements were carried-out at rear, left-wing and right-wing sides of the aircraft at multiple lateral distances to quantify the Airborne Noise and ground borne Vibration levels.

For the entire task, the assessment of Radiating noise and Ground borne Vibrations were carried-out at Free-Field boundary condition using best-of-class Airfield grade microphones and Seismic grade ultra-low frequency Vibration transducers along with multi-channel data acquisition system.

Also, Impact based force response measurements were conducted at the Fuel farm on the fuel storage tanks to assess their critical weak frequency zones for the impending forces from the Aircraft Engine.

The data is processed, Airborne Noise & Ground borne Vibration levels are computed and mapped over the entire area of its influence using sophisticated softwares and Simulation method. Based on the analysis results obtained, recommendations/action plans are suggested to the customer.
